The new members are bed manufacturers Kayfoam Woolfson/Kaymed; bedstead specialist Enchanted House from Cornwall; and Glasgow-based Kayfoam (no connection!); Danish textile supplier Sunds Velour; and spring makers Springform Technology and Industrias Subinas of Spain.

“We now have approaching 70 companies attending, many of them exhibiting at a show for the first time or for the first time in several years,” says executive director Jessica Alexander. The line up includes major brands such as Airsprung Group (exhibiting Airsprung, Gainsborough and Hush-A-Bye), Breasley Consumer Products, Simmons Group (Sleepeezee, Nestledown, Cumfilux), Harrison Spinks Group (Harrison, Somnus, Spink & Edgar) Hilding Anders UK (Myers, Staples, Slumberland and Dunlopillo), Hypnos, Millbrook, Sweet Dreams, ViSpring and Vogue. The NBF’s supplier members are also supporting the show well; more than 20 of them have signed up..

Said Jessica: “Judging by the support we have had, we have not only uncovered a strong latent demand for a cost-effective trade show in the early autumn; but also created a unique platform for the bed industry – manufacturers, suppliers and retailers – to get together.”

The NBF is capitalising on this unprecedented gathering of the bed industry in one place by also organising a Gala Dinner and holding the first ever Lifetime Achievement Awards – a manufacturer, a supplier and a retailer will be honoured.
