Trade Name Register

Members can use the list of names registered by themselves and others to check if anyone else has already laid claim to a name they’ve thought up for a new range or model, thus avoiding the inconvenience and possible expense of a name clashing with another company.

Use the blue box at the bottom of the page to add or delete names. When adding a name, if you have registered it with the Intellectual Property Office (IPO), please indicate by adding the IPO number. Click on ‘submit’ and your request will be dealt with by the NBF admin team who will make the changes to the online register.
