NBF is ‘Best Trade Association’ in 2026 Furniture News Readers’ Choice Awards

 

It’s a hat-trick for the National Bed Federation (NBF), as we are delighted to have been crowned ‘Best Trade/Body Association’ in the Furniture News Readers’ Choice Awards for the third time! We are truly honoured and would like to thank all the Furniture News readers who voted for us.

The accolade belongs not only to the NBF secretariat (pictured), but also to our bed manufacturer and supplier members who actively support and engage with the federation. A special thank you should also go to those individuals who share their expertise and give their time to be part of our Council and various committees covering Marketing, Quality & Standards, Circular Economy and Suppliers’ Council. We are also incredibly grateful for the support of all our valued NBF Retail Champions.

As the ‘voice of the industry’, the NBF acts as a trusted industry advocate, technical and standards adviser, sustainability leader, market intelligence provider, and impartial educator through our consumer-facing Bed Advice channels.

Whether we are helping members prepare for new regulations, influencing government policy through our seats on British, European and international standards committees, or promoting the value of buying NBF-approved brands from reputable retailers, our role is to help businesses thrive in an increasingly complex and often volatile marketplace.

We also organise and run the multi-award-winning Bed Show, which takes place in Telford, UK every year and is focused solely on the bed trade.

The NBF stands out in the bed sector because we represent UK and Ireland-based bed manufacturers and their suppliers. We encourage eligible manufacturers and suppliers to reach out for an informal chat about joining our fantastic trade association.

Our Retail Champions Scheme is an excellent opportunity for bed retailers who predominantly stock our member brands to get involved and receive support.
