Anton Du Beke to Host Bed Show Gala Dinner

Anton Du Beke will swap the ballroom for the Bed Show this autumn as the National Bed Federation (NBF) announces the Strictly Come Dancing star as the host of its gala dinner and awards ceremony on 24 September.

Anton will host the 14th Gala Dinner, welcome and entertain the 500 guests, and present the 2024 Bed Industry Awards on the first evening of the Bed Show at the Telford International Centre.

At 14, Anton Du Beke gave up boxing and football and took up ballroom dancing. Before his Strictly fame, however, Anton worked as a bed salesman for the Bed Post in Petts Wood, South London.

Anton won numerous amateur competitions in his dancing career before eventually turning pro and sweeping to fame on Strictly Come Dancing. The show has made Anton a household name, one of only two professionals to appear in every series before becoming one of the judges.

Alongside Strictly duties, Anton is a frequent guest on other shows with credits from The Wright Stuff to Countdown to Hole in The Wall. The Strictly star has also released a series of dance-themed books and novels and recorded an album.

Further information on timings and how to book tickets for the gala dinner will be available later in the year via the Bed Show website.
