NBF Announces Judges for 2025 Member Awards

The National Bed Federation (NBF) has revealed the judges for its four member categories in the 2025 Bed Industry Awards.

An independent panel of 11 judges from the furniture industry will decide which NBF manufacturer and supplier members will be crowned winners at the Bed Show Gala Dinner and Awards ceremony on Tuesday 23 September at the Telford International Centre.

The awards are an opportunity for bed manufacturers, suppliers and retailers to highlight their achievements from the past year.

The Bed Manufacturer of the Year and Supplier of the Year Awards will be judged by Brian Ahern, former master of The Furniture Makers’ Company; Jonathan Hindle, chairman of the British Furniture Confederation (BFC) and MD & President of KI Europe; and newcomer to the panel, Richard Naylor, CEO and founder of Hawksfield Ltd and Hawksfield Innovations Ltd.

The Bed Product of the Year Awards will be judged by Steve Adams, founder and CEO of Mattress Online; Sue Davies, owner of Sue Davies Design Solutions; Paul Farley, editor-in-chief of Furniture News; James Dunne, director of operations at Prestige Beds; and Joanna Fielding, beds category manager at Associated Independent Stores (AIS).

The Component Product of the Year Award will be judged by Natalie Armstrong, product development manager at Sealy UK; Danny Blackmore, operations director at Silentnight; and David Morris, purchasing director at Sleepeezee.

The two product awards will be judged during the show, and a shortlist of finalists for the company awards will be published before the winners are announced on Tuesday 23 September.

The deadline for the Manufacturer and Supplier of the Year awards is 4 August and 1 September for the product awards.

More information on all the 2025 awards, including how to enter, is available on the Bed Show website. The NBF urges the trade to book their gala dinner tickets by Friday 8 August, also via the Bed Show website.
