NBF manufacturer and supplier members are invited to attend the 2026 NBF Spring Forum & AGM on Thursday 7th May 2026 Members – please visit our Spring Forum & AGM page in the members’ area for more details.

The National Bed Federation (NBF) is calling on the bed trade to support its May Be Time for a New Mattress campaign next month, which raises awareness of when consumers should replace their mattresses.
To assist retailers, the NBF has provided a free marketing toolkit, which includes the official logo, engaging social media infographics and suggested posts. Retailers can download these resources from the NBF website.
A targeted, single-message campaign, it will run across the NBF’s consumer-facing Bed Advice UK social media, with all activity focused on helping consumers identify when it is time to replace their mattress.
Consumers will be guided to Bed Advice UK’s Bed MOT tool and comprehensive Bed Buyers’ Guide, which highlights the importance of purchasing from approved NBF member manufacturers. Both resources are available at www.bedadvice.co.uk
Simon Williams, head of marketing and membership at the NBF, urged retailers to make the most of the campaign: “May Be Time for a New Mattress is a fantastic opportunity for retailers to connect with consumers during a typically quieter shopping period.
“We’ve done the hard work for you – the bright, eye-catching toolkit is free and easy to download from our marketing hub, so getting involved couldn’t be easier. This is a great opportunity to drive footfall and web traffic, turning browsing customers into bed buyers. We’d love to see as many retailers as possible getting behind it.”
