As National Bed Month approaches in March, the National Bed Federation (NBF) is calling on bed retailers and manufacturers to support the annual awareness campaign by downloading its newly updated marketing toolkit.
The consumer campaign promotes the health benefits of a new bed, particularly one made by an NBF-approved member, tips on bed buying and bed care, and sleep advice from official supporter, The Sleep Charity.
This year’s campaign continues the ‘miracle product’ theme, emphasising the positive effects of regular, quality sleep in a good, comfortable and supportive bed – an often-overlooked component when consumers are seeking to improve their health and wellbeing.
Simon Williams, head of marketing and membership, said: “The National Bed Month campaign is essential for bed retailers and the broader industry during what is often a quieter trading period.
“It’s an opportunity to bolster new bed sales and support customers while aligning with key messaging from the UK and Ireland’s trusted trade body.
“We look forward to seeing what supporting businesses have planned and helping consumers on their journeys to better sleep through our Bed Advice UK social channels.”
The toolkit, which includes the official campaign video, social media graphics, posters and suggested copy, can be downloaded from the Marketing Support page.
