The National Bed Federation (NBF) is celebrating the first anniversary of its enhanced benefits package for its NBF Retail Champions, which launched in July 2025.
Bed retailers across the UK and Ireland who predominantly stock NBF-approved member brands can upgrade to the enhanced benefits package, which builds on the free perks such as point-of-sale materials, digital marketing assets, and a listing on the NBF’s consumer website, www.bedadvice.co.uk.
The enhanced benefits include access to the annual NBF bed-buying consumer research; advice on HR, legal, health & safety and tax matters for UK businesses; discounted City & Guilds and bed-specific sales training; information on product legislation and sustainability initiatives; and a VIP Bed Show package.
For Hannah Shore, head of sleep science at Mattress Online, the NBF’s expert technical expertise was a standout benefit: “I found the expert-led NBF technical session a really valuable experience. The subject was complex and tricky, yet Tristine [Hargreaves] translated everything into practical and actionable information.
“Being able to go to the NBF as a ‘one-stop shop’ for technical information is a massive asset to our business, it saves any guesswork and ensures our knowledge is kept up to date.”
Simon Williams, NBF head of marketing & membership, said: “We’re thrilled our new enhanced benefits package is resonating with bed retailers across the country, which we designed to help bed retailers stand out in a competitive market.”
The new benefits package is available across three pricing tiers, tailored to suit retailers of different sizes, starting from just £250 per year for smaller independent retailers.
